OUYA is now allowing for the purchase of consoles on their OUYA.tv website to be made with Bitcoin. This announcement was made from their official Twitter account. OUYA has confirmed that Bitcoin is only accepted for purchasing consoles on their website, and not for payment for apps on their console.
Bitcoin is describer as this on their website:
Bitcoin is an open source, peer-to-peer electronic currency network that utilizes cryptography to complete and secure monetary transactions. Bitcoins are tied to generated addresses that can be stores on users’ hardware, in online services or as printed paper notices.
It also does appear that the Limited Edition White OUYA is currently sold out, so you will have to use your Bitcoin to pick up the regular $99 console.
